Wow. I had never seen a 416-8A on the 16" frame. So if they put an "A" in a Model 19, it would pretty much have to be one of these creatures.

Hello all , first post here , im from Chile , Altec use the 416 8Z from 1985 ahead in the 19 .
I ve got the 802 8G and 416 8B , nice drivers .

That's a fabulous custom 19 cabinet, did you build that?

Oooops, sorry, i re-read your post. Somebody did a very good job building that.

I'd think that with the 19 XO, that 420-8B would not really do much more than a stnd 416. The frame is the same, got one here that I'll get reconed to a 416-8B
